Licensing & Intellectual Property
This page explains the ownership, licensing and intellectual property rights relating to SwiftVecto, its services and user-submitted content.
1. Ownership of SwiftVecto
SwiftVecto, including its branding, software, website, user interface, documentation, graphics, designs, source code, databases, logos, trademarks and other original content, is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, all intellectual property rights in the SwiftVecto platform remain the exclusive property of SwiftVecto or its respective licensors.
2. Limited Licence to Use SwiftVecto
Subject to compliance with our Terms of Service and other applicable policies, SwiftVecto grants users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to access and use our services for their intended purpose.
This licence does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property and may be suspended or revoked where users violate our policies or applicable law.
3. Restrictions
Unless expressly permitted by law or by written permission from SwiftVecto, users may not:
- Copy, reproduce or redistribute significant portions of the SwiftVecto platform.
- Modify, adapt or create derivative works based on our software or proprietary content.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to discover the source code of proprietary components.
- Remove or alter copyright notices, trademarks or branding.
- Resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the platform except where expressly authorised.
4. Ownership of User Content
Users retain ownership of any files, documents, images, videos, audio, text or other content that they upload to SwiftVecto for processing.
Uploading content to SwiftVecto does not transfer ownership of that content to us. We only process uploaded material for the purpose of providing the requested services in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
5. Licence Granted to SwiftVecto
By uploading content to SwiftVecto, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to access, store, process, transform, transmit and display your content solely to the extent necessary to provide the services you have requested.
This licence automatically ends once processing has been completed and any applicable retention period has expired, except where we are legally required to retain certain information.
6. Artificial Intelligence Content
Some SwiftVecto services may use artificial intelligence to analyse, transform or generate content. Ownership of AI-assisted outputs will depend on the applicable laws, the rights associated with the original material and the terms governing any third-party AI providers used to deliver the service.
Users remain responsible for ensuring that their use of AI-generated content complies with applicable intellectual property laws and does not infringe the rights of others.
7. Open-Source Software
SwiftVecto is built using a number of open-source technologies and libraries. Ownership of those components remains with their respective authors and is governed by their individual open-source licences.
Nothing within this policy overrides the terms of any applicable open-source licence.
8. Third-Party Intellectual Property
SwiftVecto may display or integrate third-party products, services, trademarks or technologies. All such intellectual property remains the property of its respective owners and is used only where permitted by law, licence or agreement.
Nothing on the SwiftVecto platform should be interpreted as granting ownership or licensing rights over third-party intellectual property unless expressly stated.
9. Trademarks
"SwiftVecto", the SwiftVecto logo and other associated branding are trademarks or trade identifiers of SwiftVecto unless otherwise indicated. They may not be used without our prior written permission except where permitted by applicable law.
All other trademarks appearing on the platform remain the property of their respective owners.
10. Feedback and Suggestions
We welcome feedback, ideas and suggestions for improving SwiftVecto. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, any suggestions voluntarily submitted to us may be used, implemented, modified or incorporated into our services without compensation or attribution.
This helps us continually improve the platform while allowing users to contribute ideas without creating uncertainty regarding ownership of future developments.
11. Reporting Intellectual Property Concerns
If you believe that your intellectual property rights have been infringed by material available through SwiftVecto, please contact us with sufficient information for us to investigate the matter.
